This website says that Skrillex made over $15 million last year, but currently has a net worth of around $2.5 million. This begs the question, would you invest in the electro music producer if he had a stock (assuming its price is based on popularity)?
Moreover, what are some other musicians that would be good investments over the coming years? |

I don't know that I would invest in Skrillex, others I would.
Ludacris - very enterprising in music, owns several restaurants, several websites, a non-profit, a good acting career and his own brand of liquor. Lil Wayne is a selling machine in general. I also think 50 Cent is very smart and enterprising. |

I would only invest in Brands, not people or events. Nike is a brand. If Air Jordans didn't have that umbrella they would not have lasted this long. The shoes would have retired when he did.

Or they would have switched to baseball cleats then retired again, haha

Haha No, (even though I do like the song "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites"...)I wouldn't invest in him, but that's just me. Dubstep seems to be a passing craze, and I don't see a lot of variety and fresh new ideas in the music. Now...if Skrillex officially teamed up with Ludacris or Lil Wayne and got a little more than just the wub wub wub...THEN I might consider investing.
