WealthLift Investment Education Lesson 3

I am teen from Vancouver and I always wanted to learn how to invest; since I was 12. I started with $100 from my savings and investing with my dads account. Not surprisingly I didn't know what I was doing but yet my money doubled; I thought this stuff was easy. Then in 2008 my dad said maybe you need to actually learn how to invest properly- I gave up on investing afterwards. Now that I found this and I would like to thank the people who made this app/program as much as possible; You don't know how grateful I am! Now I can try risk- free investments and get back into investing when I learn how to.

Net Assets/Share = (Company Assets - Company Liabilities)/No. Shares Outstanding
Earnings/Share = Company Earnings/No. of Outstanding Shares

If more shares are offered faster than earnings are increasing, earnings/share goes down. This is why investors look at P/E (Price to Earnings) ratio.

Price-to-Earnings Ratio = Current stock price/Earnings per share

PE > 11 (Expect positive growth)
PE = 11 (Expect no growth)
PE 1 = High debt
DtoE = 0.5 - 1 = Moderate debt
